Landlord in & out, in and out, when I am not home!!

Postby preciousconnor » Tue Nov 06, 2012 10:08 am

i am in NY renting a house, and my landlord in the house next to me. everytime i go, he has come to fix lightbulbs, check the boiler, etc. he has even moved a few thngs in my house (shoetub) to another part of the room. i rally dont know if this allowed, it happenes often, i have things set up where i know someone has been in, and its to often, and i am getting fed up. i know its his house, but there has to be somerestrictions as to how often this can go on for, and if IT CAN go on. it just seems a huge invasion of privacy to me. last week, the garba ge from my kitchen was taken outside to the can. thats a little much. can someone advise me on how to handle this, and how i can let them know that i know they are coming in, and i am not happy anout it. any responses or thoughts on this will be very appreciated. thank you!!!!!
