I went to housing court in Manhattan this morning to request a file screen print out from the clerk's computer, as was helpfully suggested to me by a poster a while back. The problem is that no one in housing court had any idea what I was talking about. What is a file screen print out? How can I explain to them what I need in a way that they'll understand?
When they pull up your index #, a screen comes up. On that screen it lists all the info regarding the case (in short form). All the clerk has to do is press "print screen" on their computer and it prints out...
