Ask the Irish about London LL's After hundreds of years of greed the're still at it. The coming Olympics puts another spin on a leapord does not change it's spots :queen:

The thing is, landords in London are not who they used to be. Many are those who made a lot of money during the past decade or so, an ambitious, upwardly mobile breed. There are also many wealthy Russian and European landlords in London.

My experience with London landlords (and UK in general) is that across the board they do not allow pets, automatically, so that people have to abandon their animals to shelters just to get a place to live. Another thing I find objectionable is that London landlords demand to make frequent inspections of your apartment, to make sure you are keeping them up to standard, and you have to comply.

So yes, todays London landlords are rather a mercenary bunch.
