Rental tenant damaged awning - is building insured?

Postby cyril007 » Mon Dec 17, 2012 9:53 pm

I accidentally damaged the fabric canopy - long embarrassing story ;)
I of course expect the management will send me a bill.

But I wonder - wouldn't they be covered by insurance?
And can I ask them to show me a copy of whatever claim they submit?

Would appreciate any thoughts.

What is a "fabric canopy?" In what way was it damaged?

It may be an old post, but we got a notice that it was just posted. Maybe you did something that sent the notice. In any case, we don't allow post deletions as this is a learning forum. See the Forum Rules for specifics.
