air-condition

Postby tenant110 » Wed Aug 21, 2002 1:54 pm

The air-condition supplied by the landlord was a very old one and it broke after a couple of months I moved in. I bought a new air-condition and threw out the old one. Now, I am moving to a new place and want to take the device with me. The landlord does not allow me take it since I don't have the old broken one (which was impossible for me to keep because this is a very small studio). I have the receipts of the new device but still they dont agree. Any suggestions?

I think what you should do is go to a second hand store and find an old one and leave him that one. You have to leave one or the other because tecnically working or not working he left one in there.

if you're in NYC check newyork.craigslist.com

a lot of people will be selling, giving away A/C units for cheap.

maybe you can pick up a very low cost replacement
