Month to month=no rights. Also noise complaints are hard to pursue even when you have a lease. But you have no lease and the perpetrator is a landlord. Sorry--I see no remedy aside from asking him to stop.
: I am a tenant, pay month to month,and also signed a lease. From day one the noise level has been bad. We rent the upstairs apartment. They have done alot of remodeling and that noise level has been bad .There have been times where I could not have a conversation on the phone because it was so loud. And recently, the landlord works nights. At home at 1am, slamming doors having company over, and loud talking outside. Do I have any rights. I am paying rent each month to listen to loud noise.
