I have scoured the net and found many resources discussing a tenant's right to
sublet, but nothing on subtenants' rights or what is expected of them. Can anyone out
there point me in the right direction? I don't know what is in store for me if I
sublet in NYC. Do I sign a lease? What if the existing tenant returns early? Can I
be evicted? Can I have pets? These and many other questions await you, the knowledgable
NYC tenant. Please help if you can. Thanks
